Vogalonga rowing regatta in Venice
VOGALONGA: June 4th 2017
The Vogalonga is a 32 kilometers non-competitive rowing regatta also known as the lagoon rowing marathon.
The Vogalonga was born as a protest by those Venetians who wished to show the discomfort caused by motor boats, still one between the greatest problem in safeguarding the structure of the city. Starting from the spectacular Bacino of St. Mark, on towards the islands of the Northern Lagoon and then coming back in the Grand Canal.
